Under the guidance of Brahmeshanand Swamiji, thousands of Hindus participated in the sacred thread ceremony

Shravani is when our Hindu’s come to their Guru to wear the sacred thread (Yajnopavit) and offer Tarpan to their ancestors. They develop a sense of respect for the culture that has been received from the Rishi-Munis and remember them. In Gomantak, this ritual has been taking place for many decades, and now the Hindu community has started coming here in large numbers. We are seeing the Hindu community turning towards divine activities on a large scale, and the credit for this goes to our Rishi-Munis. They have given us this heritage, which the Hindu society has continued to uphold. The unity of Hindus in Goa is being achieved through the Shravani festival. In his blessings and address, Padma Shri Sadguru Brahmeshanand Swamiji said.

Under the divine leadership of Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth, Peethadhishwar Padma Shri Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, the grand Shravani celebrations was joyously celebrated at Shri Kshetra Tapobhumi Gurupeeth on 10th August.
