Lord Shri Ram is Ideal Because of Spirituality: Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji
Kundaim, Goa: Speaking on the occasion of Shri Ram Navami, Padmashri Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji said: “From this festival we must take the message that Lord Ram is the supreme ideal, the complete Maryada Purushottam. Such an ideal should be imparted to our children. We must protect nature, keep the riversides and seashores clean and pure. This spiritual essence has been given by Sanatan Dharma, and it must be passed on to future generations as a rich heritage. Sanatan Dharma teaches us to see with awareness, and then we realize that this very heritage was carried forward by Lord Ram. Thus, Lord Shri Ram is ideal because of his spirituality.”

At Shri Datta Padmanabh Peeth, Tapobhoomi Gurupith, the Shri Ram Navami festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm as a special Datta Thursday devotional event, during which Pujya Swamiji delivered his address.

Swamiji further said: “All saints, sages, and rishis have tried to give spirituality to everyone. Lord Ramchandra did not claim ownership of all the challenges that came in life. He simply fulfilled his duty, his Dharma, and his responsibility. Whoever needs Ram, whoever worships Ram, whoever is a seeker, should not fall into the trap of pride. O youth, understand Ram in the right way.”

On this occasion, under the auspicious hands of Swamiji, Lord Shri Ram’s idol was worshipped, Sadguru Puja was performed by the hosts, and devotees participated in chanting the name of Shri Ram and offering lamp worship.

The event was graced by the holy presence of Mahamandaleshwar Shri Shri 1008 Narayananandgiri Swamiji of Panchayati Shri Niranjani Akhada, along with dignitaries including Prasad Shirodkar (Panch member, Calangute Panchayat), Pandurang Mathkar (President, Shri Shantadurga Devasthan, Calangute), Chandrakant Chodankar (President, Shri Babreshwar Devasthan, Calangute), Kishor Gadekar (President, Shri Tayeshwar Devasthan, Calangute), Kundan Kerkar (President, Shri Rastroli Devasthan, Calangute), Dhiraj Parulekar (President, Entrepreneur), Mohan Shetty (Entrepreneur), Dhrupesh Hari, and others.
