Mass Upanayana Sanskar Ceremony at Tapobhoomi

On the occasion of the silver jubilee year of the Gurupeetharohan of Padma Shri awardee Adhyatma Shiromani Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, a mass Upanayana Sanskar (sacred thread) ceremony organized by Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth and Swami Brahmanand Vedic Gurukul & Research Institute was concluded in a devotion-filled atmosphere on Thursday, May 7th, at Shree Kshetra Tapobhoomi Gurupeeth.

Swami Brahmanand Vedic Gurukul & Research Institute, the only center for the study of the four Vedas in Goa, is carrying out the historic work of taking the Vedic heritage to every household through various initiatives. With the objective of preserving the tradition and heritage of Vedic rituals in society, creating awareness of cultural values among the new generation, and nurturing Vedic Sanatani people in the nation, the mass Upanayana Sanskar of 18 batus (initiates) was conducted in the holy presence of Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji. The rituals were performed under the priesthood of the Vedic disciples of the Gurupeeth for initiates including Master Agam Guruprasad Borkar, Shlok Ganeshprasad Parkar, Arya Nityanand Naik, Kovid Vishnu Gaonkar, Aarush Bharmani Shivangekar, Yugansh Pradeep Kuduchkar, Arnav Dinesh Bhandari, Aarav Dnyaneshwar Uskaikar, Laksh Shankar Gad, Sahil Mahesh Bharne, Shaurya Jayaprakash Amonkar, Saish Ashok Dhuri, Yagnyesh Dayanand Purkhe, Krish Amir Wayangankar, Adesh Shrikant Dhawad, Hemant Tushar Parwar, Pavitra Sandeep Malik, and Mohit Nagaraj Patil.

On this occasion, Ponda Municipal Council Chairperson Virendra Dhavalikar, along with parents, relatives, Vedic scholars, and devotees from various regions, attended the ceremony and bestowed their blessings upon the batus.
