Commencement of Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji’s Silver Jubilee Year of Accession

“Rashtrasant Sadguru Brahmanandacharya Swamiji ignited the lamp of spirituality, service, and humanity in society and guided countless devotees. His life is an exemplary model of sacrifice, penance, and social welfare. The commencement of Padmashri Sadguru Brahmeshanandacharya Swamiji’s Silver Jubilee Year of Accession to the Gurupith marks a beginning dedicated to Sadhana (spiritual practice), service, and spirituality. Under the leadership of His Holiness, the Padmanabh Peeth has extensively promoted spiritual awareness, values, and the spirit of service. There is no alternative to spirituality for the improvement of the nation, society, and families. It is essential for the welfare of society, mental peace, and spiritual elevation,” stated Union Minister of State Shripad Naik.

These remarks were made at the Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth – Shree Kshetra Tapobhoomi Gurupith during the grand ceremony held to mark the beginning of the Silver Jubilee Year (Rajat Mahotsav) of Padmashri Vibhushit Adhyatma Shiromani Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji’s accession to the Gurupith.

The year 2026-27 will be celebrated as the Silver Jubilee Year of Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji’s accession with various programs and initiatives. To mark this occasion, several campaigns were launched, including:

  • Sadguru Alankaran Mahapuja performed by the disciples.
  • A grand pledge (Mahasankalp) by disciples for 25 Crore Guru-mantra Japa Recitation.
  • The launch of a massive Outreach Campaign to connect every disciple with Hindu families.

Following these launches, the event included the Vedic Aadhaarstambh Gaurav (honoring pillars of Vedic knowledge) and the felicitation of Veda-Sanskrit scholars. The program concluded with divine blessings from His Holiness, the Arati, Darshan, and Mahaprasad.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including:
