Governor Offers Prayers at Rashtrasant Sadguru Brahmanand Swamiji’s Samadhi
Sadguru Brahmanand Swamiji was a saint of Goa who initiated the noble task of imparting knowledge to all. Consequently, Goa has always kept him in its memory. When one receives the blessings of saints, even the seemingly impossible becomes easily achievable. The Tapobhoomi Gurupith is working for society with the singular goal of ensuring people receive true knowledge. Sadguru Brahmanand Swamiji always taught that while giving money is good, giving knowledge is great.
Today, there are numerous problems at every level—in society and within families. The root cause of these issues is a lack of values (Sanskar). The true knowledge of how to live life is being lost. We provide our children with physical education and various degrees, but the preservation and promotion of our culture is equally essential. Preserving our culture in Goa and across India is the true need of the hour. These thoughts were shared by Padmashri Vibhushit Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, Peethadhishwar of Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth.
On the occasion of the Death Anniversary Mahotsav of Tapobhoomi founder Rashtrasant Sadguru Brahmanandacharya Swamiji at Shree Kshetra Tapobhoomi Gurupith, various religious rituals and programs were organized in the morning session under the divine presence of Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji. The event was blessed by the presence of Mahamandaleshwar Shri Shri 1008 Narayananand Giriji Maharaj of Panchayati Shri Niranjani Akhada. The Honorable Governor of Goa, Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, graced the morning session as the Chief Guest.
During the visit, the Honorable Governor offered floral tributes and sought blessings at the Samadhi of Rashtrasant Sadguru Brahmanandacharya Swamiji. He also received blessings on the occasion of the commencement of the Silver Jubilee Year (25th Year) of Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji’s accession to the Gurupith.

Sadguru Brahmanand Swamiji truly shaped Goa and gave the state a distinct, righteous direction. Following in his footsteps, Sadguru Brahmeshanand Swamiji is now taking this mission to a global level with great distinction. Today, His Holiness Brahmeshanand Swamiji completes 24 years on the Gurupith. Engaging in spiritual work is challenging, but over the last 24 years, His Holiness has taken this spiritual mission to every village. While the Swamiji is leading this spiritual work to the masses, the participation of all of us is equally important, stated Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar.
The morning session included various religious rituals such as the Naukundi Shreedatta Mahayag, Chaturved Swahakar, Mahabhishek at the Samadhi of Sadguru Brahmanandacharya Swamiji, Mahapuja, Sadgurupujan, Mahapurnahuti, Chappan Bhog offering, and Maha-arati. The evening session concluded with the Sadguru Palkhi Utsav (Palanquin Procession).
The event was attended by Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, Kundaim Sarpanch Sarvesh Gaude, social worker Mithil Dhavalikar, central officials of Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth, and devotees. The program was compered by Ramchandra Naik.
