London UK Witnesses Historic Curtain-Raiser of Goa Spiritual Festival 2026

London: In a landmark moment for Goa and for India’s cultural diplomacy, the curtain-raiser of the Goa Spiritual Festival 2026—jointly organised by the Satguru Foundation in association with the Government of Goa—was held with great enthusiasm at the historic House of Commons, British Parliament, London-UK.

This grand spiritual celebration is set to take place from 19th to 25th February 2026 in Goa.

The event was graced by Padma Shri Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, whose divine presence set the spiritual tone of the evening. Peace Ambassador H.H. Rajarajeshwar Guruji, Head of the International Siddhashram Shakti Centre, also joined the ceremony.
The festival theme was formally unveiled by Gareth Thomas, Member of Parliament (Harrow West), and Simon N. Ovens, DL, Representative of His Majesty King Charles III for Harrow, London. Prominent  dignitaries included former MP Virendra Sharma, Councillor Janet Mote, Satguru Foundation President Adv. Brahmideviji, and several distinguished guests from the UK and India.

Hosting the curtain-raiser at the British Parliament, London-UK—marked a moment of immense pride for Goa. The Goa Spiritual Festival 2026 has been conceptualised by Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, with special support from the Government of Goa under Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant. The festival aims to present Goa’s deep-rooted spiritual traditions, cultural heritage, and authentic identity to a global audience.

The Goa Spiritual Festival 2026 will feature Samudra Aarti, yoga sessions, traditional music, art and cultural showcases, and curated visits to ancient temples—highlighting Goa’s spiritual depth beyond its globally known beaches.

British MPs and dignitaries, including Gareth Thomas, Simon N. Ovens, Virendra Sharma, and Councillor Janet Mote, expressed keen interest in visiting Goa to witness the festival in person. They praised the initiative for promoting cultural harmony and fostering global spiritual dialogue.

A unique highlight of this initiative is the leadership of women at the forefront of its planning and execution. this reflects the increasing influence and global presence of Goa’s women leaders in culture and spiritual initiatives.
