Thousands of disciples attend Shri Guru Poornima at Tapobhoomi

When there was no communication in the entire world, no human society was advanced, thousands of years ago in India, the land of sages, human society was immersed in self-reflection and meditation. ‘Vyasochishtha jagat sarvam. No one in this world had any knowledge at that time, the sages of our country meditated after doing severe penance, as a result of that meditation, we all live a culture, which is the gift of those sages. All the arrangements for the entire year have been passed on to us in our culture through various festivals and celebrations. This culture has not been given to us by any foreign people, politicians, highly educated people, rich people. If the entire Indian society, even all the gods, are indebted to anyone, then it is to the Guru tradition because this Guru tradition gave knowledge. This Guru tradition has explained the arrangement of God. There are many schools, colleges, universities, big colleges in this world, but till date, no school, college, or university has the subject of self-knowledge. Because that subject cannot be learned in a university, a Sadguru is the one to enlighten a person with self-knowledge. This was addressed by Shri Datta Padmanabha Peeth, Peethadheeshwar Adhyatma Shiromani, Padmashri Sadguru Brahmashanandacharya Swamiji in his blessings.

The Gurupeetharohan special Shri Guru Poornima festival was celebrated with enthusiasm at Shri Kshetra Tapobhoomi Gurupeeth in the holy presence of the venerable Swamiji on behalf of Shri Datta Padmanabha Peeth. Thousands of disciples from Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, India and abroad were present for this program.

Further, Pujya Swamiji said that being grateful for our ancestors, our sages, our gods and goddesses as long as we live is taught only in Sanatan culture. Respect for our mother who gave birth, respect for the Guru who gave us knowledge, considering the guest who came to the door as God means respect for everyone, this is what culture has taught us. It has been a thousand years since the birth of Venerable Vyasa, but we have not forgotten him till now. Because saints worked for the welfare of the world. If you want to see the Guru, do not close your eyes but keep your eyes open. The Guru is so widespread that you will see the Guru everywhere, that is why we call it Guru Poornima, such gems with different qualities are present in this Sampradaya. These gems are intertwined in the garland of this Sampradaya and the Guru is the real Merumani of life. This was the exhortation given by Pujya Swamiji.

In the morning, a Mahapuja was conducted at the Samadhi Temple of Rashtrasant Sadguru Brahmanandacharya Swamiji under the host of Mrs. and Shri Uttam Dhargalkar, and at the Shri Datta Temple under the host of Mrs. and Shri Siddharth Madgaonkar. At the Samadhi Sthan of Rashtrasant Sadguru Brahmanandacharya Swamiji, a Brahmanushthan and then a Prakat program were conducted under the host of Mrs. and Shri Prajyot Naik and to the melodious tunes of Vedic mantras and musical tones. After that, the disciples offered their devotion to the Sadguru by praying, worshipping the Divine Sadguru Deep. The program was moderated by Siddhi Malik.
