Padma Shri Awardee Dharmabhushan H.H. Sadgurudev Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji addressed to Sadguru Bhakti Mahayagya and Mass Gopujan ceremony on the occasion of Deepawali Balipratipada organized by Shri Datta Padmanabh Peeth and Krishi Gokul – Goa at Tapobhumi Goshala “All of us have been preserving Indian sage and agricultural culture. Our sages (Rishimunis) imparted this rite of agriculture to everyone and we are still preserving it today. India is an agrarian country and in such a country the role of the farmer is our father and king, everyone should give to the next generation. A cow is a mother, In Sanatan Vedic Hinduism, the subject of nature has been taken care of to a large extent in the number of sacrifices, etc.”

Pujya Swamiji further added “Everyone worships Govardhana on this day because he was giving the fodder etc. for the cows. Everyone should think about what we are doing for the environment and nature. A Goshala should be established in every village and temple. Balipratipada, Annakot, Govardhan Puja celebrates this part of nature. Man cannot be happy without nature. If everyone wants to live in nature, these festivals remind everyone that we should all live in close proximity to nature.”
