Sadguru Brahmeshanand Swamiji hoisted the flag at Shri Somnath Temple in Gujarat on behalf of Goans

Gujarat : A land symbolizing faith, devotion, and Sanatan tradition, the holy Prabhas Tirth in Veraval, Gujarat, is home to Shri Somnath Temple — the first among the twelve Jyotirlingas of Bhagwan Shiva. At this sacred shrine, a special Anushthan and flag hoisting ceremony was performed by Padma Shri Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, Peethadheeshwar of Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth, on behalf of the land of Goa.

The year 2025 marks the Sadguru Peetharohan Dwitahpurti Mahotsav Year of Pujya Swamiji, which is being celebrated through various programs and spiritual initiatives. Therefore, the Anushthan and flag hoisting at Shri Somnath Temple by Pujya Swamiji holds special significance.

This sacred pilgrimage site is a center of immense faith and devotion. Under the dedicated leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, who is also the President of the Shri Somnath Temple Trust, the temple continues to attain greater glory and grandeur. Extending his blessings, Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji expressed appreciation for Prime Minister Modi’s devoted efforts in the temple’s development.

During the event, the temple Purohit welcomed Pujya Swamiji with reverence and expressed their gratitude, receiving his divine blessings.

The auspicious ceremony was graced by the presence of Anantashree Vibhushit Shri Shri 108 Taponishta Sampurnanand Brahmachariji, General Secretary of Agnya Akhada, and Adv. Brahmideviji, President of Satguru Foundation. Several Hindu devotees from Goa were also present on the occasion.
