Hindu Culture Connected by Sacred Thread – Yadnyopavit

The ‘Yadnyopavit Dharan Vidhi’ the biggest Hindu gathering also known as the “Shravani Vidhi” was held under the divine guidance of International Spiritual Leader Padma Shri Awardee Dharmabhushan H.H. Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji at Shri Kshetra Tapobhoomi-Goa.

Thousand of devotees gathered at kudaim Tapobhoomi, Shree Datta Padmanabh peeth for Shravani rituals. The devotees participated in the ritual of wearing the sacred thread, Yadnopavit under the guidance of H.H. Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, who stressed the importance of spirituality for peace of mind

‘Sabhadeepdan’ is also included as a part of this occasion, which is to be performed by Hindu married ladies. The ritual includes a ghee-lit lamp to be offered at the lotus feet of H H Sadguru Maharaj ad get the divine blessings.
