Grand Launch of Tapobhoomi Calendar 2026

Kundaim, Goa: The Tapobhoomi Calendar 2026 has been officially released. This calendar is envisioned to reach every Hindu household. Its purpose is not only to share dates but to serve as a meaningful opportunity to connect with fellow Hindus. Through this calendar, people gain awareness of various Hindu festivals, temple fairs, anniversaries, auspicious and inauspicious days, and other culturally significant occasions.
The calendar acts as a medium to visit Hindu families, engage in thoughtful conversations, and understand how social initiatives should be carried forward. It also conveys the message of unity and purpose from the Akhil Hindu Organization. The launch of the Tapobhoomi Calendar 2026 is a step in that direction. The year 2026 is seen as a pivotal time for Goa’s development, and efforts must be made to help Goa become a progressive state. These thoughts were shared by Padmashri-Awardee Peethadheeshwar of Shri Datta Padmanabh Peeth, Sadguru Brahmeshanandacharya Swamiji.

On September 18th, during a special Datta Guruwar Bhakti Utsav at Shri Datta Padmanabh Peeth, Tapobhoomi Gurupith, the grand release of the Tapobhoomi Calendar 2026 was conducted by Goa’s Minister for Social Welfare, Subhash Phal Dessai. Swamiji addressed the gathering on this occasion.

Dignitaries present on the dais included Social Welfare Minister Subhash Phal Dessai, Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar, Director of Information and Publicity Deepak Bandekar, Director of IT Kabir Shirgaonkar, CEO of Ethernet Express Sagar Govekar, Acharya Satyendra Narayan Ji from Delhi, and other esteemed guests.

Sudesh Khushali Naik from Sawarde was honored as the first recipient of the calendar and was felicitated with blessings from Swamiji. All attendees, inspired by the calendar’s message, pledged to promote Hindu unity. The event concluded with Aarti and the divine darshan of Sadguru. The proceedings were anchored by Shriraj Shelar and Shubhakshan Naik.

Subhash Phal Dessai ” As the year 2026 marks the commencement of the Silver Jubilee of Sadguru Brahmeshanandacharya Swamiji’s Gurupitharohan, Shri Datta Padmanabh Peeth and Tapobhoomi Gurupith are celebrating this as a Silver Jubilee Year. I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to release the Tapobhoomi Calendar 2026 during this auspicious time.”
This calendar includes essential daily Hindu Panchang details, festivals, temple anniversaries, fairs, and other religious observances. I extend my best wishes to Sudesh Khushali Naik from Sawarde, the first honoree of this calendar. I appeal to the people of Goa to welcome this calendar into their homes and commit to preserving Hindu culture. — Subhash Phal Dessai, Minister for Social Welfare
